Habitat  ?   On lava rock strewn flat, seemingly with a variety of hosts: Poa, Artemisia arbuscula always present nearby, also common: Arenaria kingii, Pterixia, Lomatium, Leptodactylon pungens. Area of scattered Juniperus occidentalis. 
Morphology Notes  ?   Corolla violet with bright yellow palatal folds. Abundant.
