Morphology Notes  ?   Very tall and robust plants, especially in comparison to var. californicus which I observed two days prior. At least 1.5 meter tall plants, possibly taller because it was not possible to access the bases of the plants given the rosa thickets. In addition to robustness, plant also lacked any hairs on leaves, calyces, fruits, etc. where even the less hairy californicus that I observed (also deltaic) had hairs in those places when viewed under hand lens.
