Notes  ?   Stand is located on a rocky, dry, open, moderately-steep, north-facing slope on the south side of a canyon which eventually leads down to a river drainage. Vegetation is characterized by relatively dense Quercus douglasii of varying ages with emergent, young Pinus sabiniana and decadent/dying Arctostaphylos viscida. Herbaceous cover is extremely diverse with many native grasses and forbs. A. viscida appears to be dying due to old age. There are many dead branches in the stand. This area is grazed and cattle were present up until one week ago. Grazing impact appears to be light. | Access Database Number (Deprecated): UCD80523
