General collecting along the lower ridge that climbs toward Klinker Mtn. Then returned down a small draw to the west of this ridge. Gentle slopes at base, steeper the farther you climb, with some volcanic outcrops. Dry, sparse vegetation of : Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Ericameria cooperi, Acamptopappus sphaerocephalus hirtellus, Atriplex polycarpa, Grayia spinosa, Ephedra sp., Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Krascheninnikovia lanata, Salazaria mexicana, Hymenoclea salsola and Xylorhiza tortifolia.
