Habitat  ?   Open west facing side of ridge, area around this area burned about 5 years ago (fire island), below reservoir. Associated with: Eriogonum fasciculatum, Artemisia californica, Salvia mellifera, Lessingia filaginifolia, Nicotiana glauca, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Schinus molle, Malosma laurina, Prunus ilicifolia, Sambucus mexicana, Cercocarpus betuloides, and Hazardia squarrosa var. grindelioides. Multi-branched woody shrub about 5 feet tall.
