Habitat  ?   Gentle, dry, hilly terrain with desert species that include: Juniperus californica, Encelia actoni, Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Hymenoclea salsola, Ericameria linearifolia, E. cooperi, Salvia dorrii pilosa, Salazaria mexicana, Achnatherum speciosum, Xylorhiza tortifolia, Acamptopappus sphaerocephalus hirtellus, Lycium cooperi, Grayia spinosa, Tetradymia axillaris longispina, Purshia tridentata glandulosa, Krascheninnikovia lanata, and Prunus fasciculata. Blooming nice at this time with annuals and herbaceous perennials. Purple with yellow throat.
