Associated with: Quercus durata var. gabrielensis, Hazardia squarrosa var. grindelioides, Mimulus aurantiacus, Marah macrocarpus, Prunus ilicifolia, Lonicera subspicata var. denudata, Lessingia filaginifolia, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Sambucus mexicana, and Toxicodendron diversilobum. Blue flowers, shrub 10 feet tall.
