Habitat  ?   Southeast corner of a large gently-sloping (to the northwest) meadow. Low soggy area in generally soggy mossy meadow with scattered lodgepole pines; at base of north-facing slope of mixed conifer forest (white fir, sugar pine, Douglas-fir, Jeffrey pine, Ponderosa pine; Symphoricarpos mollis, Carex brainerdii). Plants with culms +-- strictly vertical.
