| Habitat ? | Gentle sloping creek, with small amount of water in it. But small springs are around in this upper drainage. Dry, sandy bench. Associated species: Pinus jeffreyi (mostly dead), Abies concolor, Arctostaphylos patula, Ceanothus cordulatus, Chrysolepis sempervirens, Ribes roezlii. Wet riparian, or closeto this habitat associates: Pteridium aquilinum pubescens (very dominant), Rosa sp., Salix lasiolepis, Carex subfusca, C. fracta, C. abrupta, C. senta, Achillea millefolium, Drymocallis lactea, Juncus macrandrus, Luzula comosa, Ribes, nevadense, Shpenosciadium capitellatum, Qaquilegiaformosa, Castilleja miniata, Mimulus tilingii, M. moschatus, Cryptantha affinis, Festuca arundinacea, Epilobium glaberrimum, Lotus oblongifolius, Agrostis scabra, Poa pratensis, Elymus glaucus, and Deschampsia elongata. | |
