Habitat  ?   Common along area road cuts and forest edges, in at least partial sun. At edge of dirt road in open Ponderosa pine-White fir-Incense cedar forest, with tobacco-brush and abundant whitethorn in understory. In dry forest floor soil with Senecio integerrimus, Delphinium nudicaule, Achillea millefolium, and Lathyrus sp. Fls pale creamy-white when fresh. Thick taprooted annual.
