Habitat  ?   In diverse chaparral shrubland of Quercus durata, Garrya sp, Ceanothus spp, manzanita, toyon, bay, posion oak, Styrax and gray pine. Along both sides of rd, for ~0.5 mi in both directions. Associates: Eriophyllum lanatum var. aphanactis, Elymus multisetus. Sepals yellow-green; petals white with purple veins; upper filaments large, long, fused, purple edged with white; leaves fleshy, flattish when fresh; plants somewhat glaucous.
