Habitat  ?   Granite-limestone, island granite, outlet limestone tunnell. On granite, Pinus murrayana, P.monticola above lake, Tsugas s. side, Abies magnifica especially w. beyond limestone. On limestone junipers ne.-nw., large knarled P. jeffreyi ne., P. Murrayana occasional; Artemisia tridentata dominant large areas. 
Notes  ?   Large Isoetes (larger deeper water - smaller near shore - see #1298) from outside large down P. Murrayana angling from shore 100 yds. s. Salix thickets ne. shore.
