Notes  ?   Perennial, stems 4 - 8 dm. tall. About 1-2 of a stem. Found growing on damp soil on a grassy rocky open south slope near the south fence line, about 3-4 mile south-west of Myers home. Myers Ranch, Sutter Buttes, California. The plant is scattered in the area and it is not common. The flowers are dark red-purple. Purple Milkweed.
