With Senegalia greggii, Phoradendron californicum, Nolina bigelovii, Ephedra, Ferocactus cylindraceus, Bromus madritensis ssp. rubens, Galium stellatum, Bahiopsis parishii, Nicotiana obtusifolia, Muhlenbergia porteri. 
Notes  ?   Perennial subshrub; corollas zygomorphic, cream white upper lip, dark blue lower lip; leaves and stems green, not glaucous. Growing in dense patches at base of north-facing cliff.
