Habitat  ?   Chaparral on ENE slope, with Ceanothus spp. Malosma laurina, Keckiella cordifolia, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Mimulus aurantiacus pubescens, Achillea millefolium, Clematis lasiantha, Chlorogalum pomeridianum, Silene laciniata major, etc. 
Notes  ?   Locally common shrubs 15-35 dm tall, growing with C. oliganthus (No. 7350) and hybrid progeny (Nos. 7347, 7348). Leaves glaucous; developing fruits globose and viscid [most fruits unfortunately dehiscing in plant dryer].
