Habitat  ?   Found growing on dry disturbed loose soil along a logging road, near the dirt road. Yellow Pine Forest. 
Notes  ?   Normal size plants. Annual, 1 - 2 dm. tall. The plant is not common in the area and the small flowers are white. The old name for this plant was Montia perfoliata (Donn) Howell forma depressa (Gray) Jeps.
