Locality  ?   Liebre Mountains. Sawmill Mountain: W summit area ca 260-350 m SE of Sawmill Campground.  
Habitat  ?   Area largely dominated by woodland (Pinus ponderosa, Quercus kelloggii) and chaparral (Ceanothus leucodermis, Sambucus mexicana, Cercocarpus betuloides, Keckiella ternata, etc.) with grassland openings rich in annuals and herbaceous perennials. In open, sunny grassland, on mesic northerly slope. Associated locally with Phlox gracilis, Platystemon californicus, Eschscholzia californica crocea, Cl. rubra rubra, Cl. parviflora parviflora, etc. 
Notes  ?   Succulent pinkish-gray to gray-pink annual; scattered and locally uncommon in open, sunny grassland, but more common on mesic northerly slope. Rosette leaves linear, subterete; bracts falcate; petals to 3.5 mm, very pale pink; seeds glossy but definitely tubercled.
