Hrusa, 2014, notes, ″ Unusual form w- single leader.″ Annual, locally common; mostly in late-bloom now, and primarily visited by needle-nosed bee-flies (Bombyliidae); lower leaves deeply divided, mostly withered now; stem glabrous and glaucous below inflorescence; calyx +- 2.5 mm long at anthesis; corolla +- 8 -10 mm; corolla lobes light lavender-pink, paler proximally; upper throat pale lavender; lower throat gold; narrow tube (in calyx) nearly colorless below, dull purplish or burgundy above, anthers pale blue, held close to the throat.
