Habitat  ?   Rocky slope up and n. from this meadow:- Pinus murrayana, P. monticola, Abies magnifica, Holodiscus discolor, Phlox douglasii, Lomatium torreyi, Penstemon newberryi, Lupinus, Erysimum, etc. Eriogonum frequent in shallow granitic soil - which is true clear down to Huntington L.
