Habitat  ?   Disturbed, but relatively intact alluvial scrub vegetation on coarse, pebbly, granitic alluvium on teh SW side of RSABG property. Local dominants include Artemisia californica, Eriogonum fasciculatum foliolosum, Lotus scoparius and Malacothamnus fasciculatus laxiflorus. 
Notes  ?   Annual, locally common, laminae +- elliptic, inflorescence gray-pubescent, bracts foliose, involucre ca 2.5 mm long, perianth segments +- 1.3 mm, cream-white with brownish midribs, anther pale salmon-pink.
