Habitat  ?   Vegetation on the adjacent slopes to the SW dominated by woodland of Pinus jeffreyi, Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Quercus chrysolepis, and scattered Calocedrus decurrens, Abies concolor, and Acer macrophyllum. Riparian area on a broad expanse of bouldery to gravelly alluvium. 
Notes  ?   Locally uncommon perennial; abaxial side of banner glabrous to slightly pubescent distally; keel ciliate above.
