Notes  ?   Annual, locally abundant in a very localized patch (perhaps 3 x 3 m). Corolla 2-3 mm broad, white with yellow throat; nutlets 4, prickley; prickles to 0.75 mm long, these with spreading to mostly retrorse barbs. Not seen elsewhere in vicinity. Previously unreported in the Catalina flora.
