Consortium of California Herbaria (CCH)

  • Version 3 of the new CCH1 database is now live.

  • The full eFlora-CCH1 synonymy table has been updated. Synonyms should now be displaying in search results.

  • The CCH1 determination history table is currently being updated. The data displayed will be incomplete for some records.

   The Consortium of California Herbaria (CCH) is the organization that supports all herbaria in California. Established in 2003, the Consortium now includes records from 55 California herbaria. For more information about the CCH, see the about page (https://ucjeps.berkeley.edu/consortium/about.html).
CCH manages two data portals and each has a special purpose:

CCH1 Consortium of California Herbaria Portal 1 is an gateway for highly-curated data from California vascular plant specimens housed in herbaria, worldwide.
Search CCH1 by fields Search CCH1 by geography
CCH2 Consortium of California Herbaria Portal 2 serves data from all specimens (nonvascular and vascular) housed in CCH member herbaria.
