Moraga Ridge

- Sequoia sempervirens -- San Leandro Creek. Redwood stump 5-7 x 6-2 11 large-size sprouts and 4 smaller ones. The large ones = 5-5 circ. at 4 ft. mostly of a size Small one 2 ft 2 in
- Large stump of Redwood at Canon station, upper San Leandro Creek. 13 ft. 4 in x 11 ft 6 in. inside the bark. Largest sprout 8 ft. 9 in. circ. at 4 ft.

No. 6212. Cornus californica C.A. Ney. The Cornus pub. var. calif. in shade of the Redwood becomes very tall (18 ft 5 in. by measurement) with very large leaves!
- In the lateral canons Moraga Ridge in bottom is a dense overhead growth of Umbellularia californica Arbutus menziesii and Quercus agrifolia, Corylus rostrata
