No. 2606. Silver Sequoia sempervirens Endl. Redwoods in the bottom of Mill Creek Canyon, four trees standing side by side, very white and looking enough unlike the ordinary green trees standing by the side of them to be dif. [different] species.
No. 2607. Sequoia sempervirens Endl. Redwood, represents the latter.
No. 2608. Diplacus glutinosus. Common. Mimulus aurantiacus. [Curt.] Det. A. L. G.
No. 2609. Ceanothus thyrsifloarus, Esch. typical of natural type.
No. 2610. Eschscholtzia Californica Cham. on steep exposed bank near sea _____ Creek, next Mill Creek.
No. 2611. Lotus benthami Greene. On exposed land-slide bank.
- Rubus vitifoliius, its slender runners running over flat bare ground, trailing wise.

I did not notice Vaccinium ovatum. Cottonwood (Fremonti) is not here. Yet Sycamore, a more dry valley tree is here. In North Coast ranges Sycamore is absent but we have the Cottonwood in occasional trees.
