[Article 58.1 would seem to apply, and the use of Cosmarium multispinosum Ramos et al. would seem to contradict Example 1 (which implies that the the date of the new name for purposes of priority is 2022) and Example 2 (which implies that earlier replacement names are correct); the new epithet proposed by Croasdale, Xanthidium echinatum (Acta Botanica Fennica 93: 40. 1971), would seem to have priority]
