[Roper included Denticella turgida Ehrenberg 1840, which had already been transferred to Biddulphia by Smith (1855, albeit with a different concept); in other words, the Ehrenberg original is renamed (turgida to granulata), while Ehrenberg's name (turgida) is allowed to stand with Smith's concept. Sims & Williams excluded the Ehrenberg original in proposing the name Cerataulus granulatus (but failed to designate a type)]
