HabitatSeeps in rocks, adjacent riparian, and ephemeral waterfall sand, gravel. Associates: Quercus agrifolia, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Trifolium, Nassella. Locally abundant. Decumbent, mat-forming, stems to 10 cm long. Corolla purple with white to pale pink tips.
