Locality Anza Bench region, Warner Springs area, along the Pacific rest Trail, sotuh of Highway 79 and west of Warner Springs resort.
HabitatPeninsular ranges, brushy hill at edge of grassland in rolling terrain. Highly grazed scrub of Quercus berberidifolia, Adenostoma fasiculatum, Lonicera subspicata, Opuntia phaecantha, Opuntia parryi, and Quercus engelmannii, adjacent to meadow-like area with Distichlis spicata, Juncus mexicana, Carex sp., and Hordium murinum. Annual. Common, but cryptic in mesic areas in brush.
