| Habitat | Palustrine emergent marsh along reservoir shoreline. Ludwigia forms band along high water line and creeps out across shallow water surface. Ludwigia senescent above waterline. Flowers from floating shoot, and from emergent stems erect from primary shoot. -4,-5, and -6 merous flowering shoots present in population. Stand is dominantly L. p. montevidensis, but minor associates include Echinodorus berteroi, Gnaphalium palustre, Eleocharis acicularis. Chromosome count 2n=16, molecular study voucher specimen LKHE-31. |
