Locality south of Lakeport, immediately south of junction of State Highways 29 and 175 (north of junction of Ackley Road and Ackley Cutoff).
HabitatWidely scattered at and near summit of serpentine hill with Quercus durata, Ceanothus, Arctostaphylos, and Chaenactis glabriuscula. In barrens and in shade of shrubs, most plants heavily grazed by insects. Corollas yellow, involucre black-glandular. VOUCHER: DNA Systematics of Madiinae.
