HabitatPlants grey green, most strongly tinged with maroon. Population 500 plants. Dry, gravelly road side and cut bank with reddish soil in mixed conifer forest with Achnatherum, Carex brainerdii, Ceanothus velutinus, Arctostaphylos patula. (Study site 20).
