Locality Transverse Ranges; San Gabriel Mountains region: Road started west of Mt. Lukens, down (Southeast) to a little west of Earl Canyon Road. (Angeles National Forest Road surveys. Roads, 2N76.1 & 2N76.2)

HabitatSteep slopes vested with thick chaparral, with talus rocky openings and bedrock openings. The main ridge running east was in the process of being heavily graded on north side (fuel break).; Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Quercus wislizenii, Q. chrysolepis, Q. durata gabrielensis, Yucca whipplei, Eriogonum fasciculatum, etc.
