Locality Glaciated Twin Lakes area, N Kaiser Ridge and W Potter Pass, 2/3 miles W 8650 ft Island Twin lake, Over 1 mile E of 10300 ft Kaiser Peak, Foot of SE corner ledged cliffs of 9900 ft N-S outlier paralleling Kaiser Ridge to E., On Ward Ditch and trail to George Lake etc.

HabitatDrainage from cliffs and ditch results in rich flora. Associates: Pinus murrayana, P. monticola occasional - only trees on cliff, Abies magnifica down ditch, Tsugas few.
