Locality San Bernardino national Forest: near the junction of forest service road 2N92 and the Green Canyon trail that heads up to the connection with Sugarloaf summit trail.

HabitatA rocky meadow, in a depression, of what looks to have been a pebble-plain habitat at some time in the past. The boarders of the meadow having Pinus jeffreyi, Abies concolor, Juniperus occidentalis ssp. australis, Pinus contorta ssp. murrayana, Arctostaphylos patula, Cercocarpus ledifolius, and Artemisia tridentata. The meadow having Mimulus brewerii, Mimulus primuloides, Mimulus guttatus, Mimulus moschatus, Taraxacum officinale, Eleocharis pauciflora, Juncus nevadesis, Juncus orthophyllus, Limosella acaulis, Trifolium wormskjoldii, Achillia millifoilia, Trifolium monanthum, Caulanthus major, Lewisia nevedensis, and Castilleja cinerea.
