HabitatIn a small sloping meadow with the edges having Juniperus occidentalis ssp. australis, Pinus monophylla, Cercocarpus ledifolius, and Artemisia tridentata and the meadow its self having Rosa californicum, Mimulus guttatus, Potentilla glandulosa, Trifolium wormskjoldii, Trifolium monanthum, Juncus saximontanus, Iris sp., and Taraxacum californicum.
