Locality NW Palomar Mountains; Agua Tibia Mountains; Cleveland National Forest, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area; Approximately 50 m W of the grassland on the W face of Agua Tibia Mountain., Along the old remnants of the Magee Pack Trail, that originates at the private inholding in the SW 1/4 of Sec. 1. The grassland occurs at the break in slope on the W 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of sec. 1.

HabitatCoastal sage scrub of Salvia apiana, S. mellifera, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Sambucus mexicanus, Melica imperfecta, etc. Contact areas between arkose and gabbro substrates with sandy loam soil; aspect SW; slope 110%.
