HabitatAlkali playa developed on silty clay soil in area seasonally inundated, often for extended period. Adjacent areas disturbed by conversion to permanently-flooded duck ponds. Associated with Lasthenia glabrata ssp. coulteri, Plagiobothrys leptocladus, Rumex, Spergularia, Sisymbrium irio, etc.
