Locality Liebre Mountains, northwestern end of the range on the ridgetop and upper slopes of the southern flank of Apple Canyon.
Elevation 1067m
HabitatSteep, mostly mesic slopes of sedimentary substrate weathering to decomposed granite or sandy soils. Open woodland of Pinus monophylla, Juniperus californica, and scattered Quercus john-tuckeri. More xeric openings with scrub of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Arctostaphylos glauca, and Yucca whipplei.
