Locality Transverse Ranges; Liebre/San Gabriel Mountains region: Acton Wash ca. 3km east of junction of Soledad Canyon Road and Crown Valley Road.

HabitatBroad, braided, sandy wash with scattered relatively low semi-stabilized gravelly benches. Scrub of Artemisia tridentata, Lepidospartum squamatum, Eriodictyon crassifolium subsp. nigrescens, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Yucca whipplei, and some scattered Juniperus californica. Slope to south of reddish volcanic substrate with heavy soil, dominated by Juniperus californica, and Ericameria linearifolia.
