Locality In a large meadow and bog, about 40 yards west of the abandoned logging road, about 250 yards north of where the dirt road crosses Colby Creek, about 2 miles (air) southeast of Colby Mountain, about 5 1/8 miles (air) northeast of Butte Meadows.

HabitatYellow Pine Forest. Normal size plants, annual, on wet black soil, open area in a large meadow and bog. Uncommon, scattered.
