Locality Lassen National Forest; Moist, shaded understory of lodgepole pine dominated forest. Soils thin. USFS S16 approx. 3.5 miles NW of intersection with Hwy 89-44, on slopes above west side of Bunchgrass Valley. Perennial, uncommon here, flowers purple.
