DODECATHEON ALPINUM IS THE MOST ABUNDANT SPECIES FOLLOWED BY DESCHAMPSIA CESPITOSA, ASTER ALPIGENUS, TRIFOLIUM BOLANDERI, PERIDERIDIA PARISHII, AND JUNCUS BALTICUS. SURROUNDING FOREST APPEARS TO HAVE BURNED A LONG TIME AGO. PINUS CONTORTA IS ENCROACHING INTO THE MEADOW. SLOPE IS 2 DEGREES. ASPECT IS 140 DEGREES. SURFICIAL GEOLOGY IS MUCK. COWARDIN SYSTEM IS PALUSTRINE. SOIL TEXTURE IS MUCK. SOIL IS POORLY DRAINED. SITE IS TEMPORARILY FLOODED. PLANT ALIANCE IS DESCHAMPSIA CAESPITOSA SEASONALLY FLOODED HERBACEOUS ALLIANCE. PLANT ASSOCIATION IS DESCHAMPSIA CESPITOSA-POLYGONUM BISTORTOIDES HERBACEOUS VEGETATION.
