Locality Transverse Ranges; Verdugo Mountains region: Southern side of the range. Stough Canyon. From the nature center follow canyon bottom in northwest direction to where a spring of water which is at a junction with a creek from the northeast.
HabitatThe nature center has planted native and unnative plants near there property, with irrigation lines. But wild lands behind and up canyon from this center. Canyon more narrower as it goes up. Along side of building and below has small areas of sandy wash, down to the debris basin. Fire burn hillside to the northeast a year ago, came down to canyon bottom. Growing in planted material, near sandy basin bottom
