macromorphologyErect annual herb, glandular-hairy to base, cobwebby in leaf axils, cauline leaves wide at base, terminal lobe wide. Pedicels, calyx dense stalked black-glandular, calyx ribs +-> membrane. Corolla tube purple, exserted, throat wide-tapered, purple below, white, yellow-spotted above, lobes pink/white, fruit c. 4 mm = calyx; uncommon near roadside.
