macromorphologySpreading annual with light-purple fls, in disturbed openings on granitic sandy soils, sometimes w/ other Erodium in more weedy areas. Collected at south end of old gravel pit; cattle-grazed site on SE-sloping bajada, otherwise with dense catclaw and buckwheat scrubs where undeveloped.
