macromorphologyUncommon 1-1.5 m shrub, scattered on alluvial benches along the wash. Rather erect and not densely colonial like E. t. in San Bernardino Mtns., similar in habit to E. crassifolium. Largely past fruit, with just dried inflorescences and a few old fruits remaining.
