HabitatAbandoned vineyard on northeast - facing slope. Disturbed annual grassland with Avena and Hirschfeldia. Surrounding original vegetation is Doug Fir and Black Oak forest with chaparral. Uncommon rush growing in water at edge of drainage pond. Growing in dense caespitose bunch.
