|Habitat||In stream beds, basins, depressions, cirque floors, etc. On N-facing 10 deg. slope; substrate of marble with gravel, sand, loamy soil and thick vegetative turf that is wet, but with visible surface water only during early summer or has flowing water over its surface through much of growing season, which starts late to mid-season.
