Locality Elsinor Basin. Elsinore Area: SE of Hwy 74, ca. 1 mile E of junction with I-15 Freeway.

HabitatVegetation is non-native annual grassland mixed with scattered remnant stands of coastal sage scrub. CSS on N facing slopes dominated by Eriogonum fasciculatum and Artemisia californica. On S facing slopes, dominated by Encelia farinosa. Soil very rocky, metamorphic parent material. Occasional annual in open places, away from dense Bromus and Avena stands.
